An Iowa man pleaded guilty to two counts of failure to file federal income tax returns for the calendar years 2016 and 2018.
Bradley Earl Ewart, 50, of Wapello, Iowa, has operated a business since approximately 2004. At his plea hearing, Ewart admitted he knew he was required to file federal income tax returns for the years 2015 through 2018 and he failed to do so. He also admitted he did not file federal income tax returns for the years 2004 through 2014.
He faces up to one year in prison and a fine of up to $25,000 for each count.
