Man Gets 46 Months For Fraud, Tax Issues

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]An Indiana man was sentenced to 46 months in prison for wire fraud and making a false statement on an income tax return.

Fredrick D. McCracken, 62, of Converse, Indiana, was also ordered to pay more than $3 million in restitution to his former employer and the IRS.

According to court records, McCracken worked as an accountant for an industrial construction company. From October 2012 through July 2018, McCracken wrote more than 100 unauthorized checks made payable to his personal business.
