Man Gets 18 Months for Tax Evasion

A Pennsylvania man was sentenced to 18 months in prison, to be followed by two years of supervised release, for income tax evasion.

 Jeremy Snyder, 43, of State College, Pennsylvania, was an employee of Number One Cycle Centre, in Centre County, Pennsylvania. He embezzled more than $800,000 from the business between 2009 and 2016.

 Snyder failed to pay income tax on the funds he embezzled, resulting in a tax loss of approximately $211,000 and a total of $222,000 in additional penalties and interest due to the IRS.
