The Lincoln Project, an anti-Trump political action committee, has been making headlines for churning out viral videos that question the president’s fitness for office.
The PAC, founded by a group of Republican political operatives who oppose Donald Trump’s reelection, have brought in more than $19.4 million, according to Federal Election Commission filings.
But as the New York Post reported, two of the Lincoln Project’s founders have been in debt to the IRS.
John Weaver, a former strategist for former Ohio Republican Gov. John Kasich, has a $313,655 federal tax lien against his Texas home.
