[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]A Louisiana man pleaded guilty to one count of assisting in the preparation of a fraudulent tax return.

New Orleans resident Danielle Franklin, 28, prepared a false tax return in 2014 for a client of Cutting Edge Income Tax, in Metairie, Louisiana, outside New Orleans.

As part of the scheme, Franklin allegedly falsified the return by including fraudulent business losses when in fact the customer had no losses or expenses.

He is looking at three years in prison, one year of supervised release, and a fine of up to $100,000.
