According to court records, Robert Rowen, 69, and Teresa Su, 66, of Sebastopol, California, are a married couple who practiced medicine from their clinic in Santa Rosa. The doctors allegedly conspired to evade payment of Rowen’s federal income tax liabilities by concealing Rowen’s ability to pay his 1992 through 1997 and 2003 through 2008 federal income tax liabilities.
Rowen and Su allegedly placed his assets out of the reach of the U.S. and deposited Rowen’s revenue into nominee bank accounts. They also used silver and gold coins. If convicted, the couple faces up to five years in prison.[/vc_column_text][us_image image=”1669″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
