Rajbir Singh says he figured something wasn’t right when the woman asked for a ride to the bank to withdraw the large amount of cash for a payment to the IRS.
Singh tried repeatedly to convince the woman that it was a scam, according to police in Roseville, but “she didn’t believe him.”
After convincing her it was scam, Singh got her to agree to visit the police station where he informed officers about the situation. Officers were able to convince her that she was indeed being scammed.[/vc_column_text][us_image image=”1250″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
