Charles Stoutt, 39, of East Moline, Illinois, was also ordered to pay $181,033 in restitution to the IRS. Stoutt owned a furniture delivery business, which generated substantial income from 2016 through 2020. Nonetheless, Stoutt failed to file tax returns for the tax years 2016 through 2020.
As a result, Stoutt failed to pay approximately $181,033 in taxes owed.
“We all suffer the consequences of those who choose to evade their tax obligation,” U.S. Attorney Gregory K.
