The stand-up comic and movie star has been in trouble with the IRS before.
Comedian Chris Tucker owes $9.6 million in back taxes to the Internal Revenue Service.
Tax liens obtained by Radar Online show Tucker owes $253,698 for the year 2019. The 2019 debt comes on top of $9.2 million Tucker already owes in taxes for previous years.
Tucker, who made his debut as a stand-up comic on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, starred in the movies Friday, The Fifth Element, Jackie Brown, and the Rush Hour series.
Tucker’s financial problems started after he signed a $40 million deal to star in Rush Hour with Jackie Chan.
This isn’t Tucker’s first tax problem. In 2014, he settled a $2.5 million tax debt. A representative blamed “poor accounting and business management.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][us_image image=”2538″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
