Rapper and music executive Rick Ross paid the Internal Revenue Service more than $1.5 million to settle his unpaid taxes.
According to records obtained by The Blast, the IRS filed a tax lien release on February 24 reporting that Ross had paid the seven-figure tax bill. The lien, first filed in December 2018, reported that Ross owed taxes from the years 2014 and 2016.
Born in Mississippi and raised in South Florida, Ross released his first single, “Hustlin’ ” in 2006 and then signed a multimillion-dollar record deal with Jay Z’s Def Jam Records.
