Michael Dexter Little was convicted of tax fraud three times in 1999,2003 and 2022.

Little also added conspiracy to commit wire fraud, money laundering and identity theft to his record.

Little filed false tax returns claiming large, false fuel tax credits from 2019 to 2021.  The returns were not only filed in his name, but also those of accomplices and identity theft victims.

Little and his accomplices were caught with 12.3 million dollars in false refunds and were trying to collect another 27 million dollars.  Little laundered a large amount of the money.  He paid cash for almost everything.  He also used a large amount of money to purchase real estate and other assets.

Little was sentenced to 19 years and six months in federal prison and ordered to pay back the $12.3 million in restitution.
