Math errors


If you made a mistake on your 2020 tax return, you’re not alone.

The IRS sent out more than 14.5 million correction notices for 2020 returns. Most were math errors relating to the recovery rebate credit.  The trend is expected to continue on 2021 returns as individuals report economic impact payments and advance payments of the Child Tax Credit.  If you bought yourself more time with a filing extension, double-check your figures.[/vc_column_text][us_image image=”3458″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
